While most of our readers have not been there, St. Francis de Sales in Benedict, Md. (Archdiocese of Washington), led by the great Fr. Kevin Cusick, has been offering the traditional Latin Mass since the 1980s. In fact, since the first days of Summorum, Fr. Cusick has offered the Mass on a daily basis. He has also restored the historic church and brought it back to its original glory. Now, in the midst of both Covid and a pandemic of its own kind infecting the Church, the parish needs a sizable fund to fix the 100-year-old ceiling which has driven the Mass to the parish hall.
