The head of an organization may have all the power in the world but he cannot mandate respect from members of the organization. Respect is earned by deeds. If the head of an organization demonstrates by his deeds that he does not respect some or all of the members of the organization, he should not be surprised when they show a lack of respect for him. This is precisely why Christ said: [11] He that is the greatest among you shall be your servant. [12] And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled: and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. Matthew 23: 11-12
