Caracas (Agenzia Fides) – “The lay ministry of the catechist: a charism for the outgoing synodal Church” is the theme of the National Week of Catechesis, to be celebrated from September, 19 to 26 in Venezuela. Promoted by the Department of Catechesis of the Permanent Secretariat of the Venezuelan Episcopate, the initiative aims to be an opportunity to deepen the ministry of the catechist, in the light of the recent Apostolic Letter of Pope Francis, “Antiquum Ministerium”.
