On “EWTN News Nightly” tonight: President Joe Biden is in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale area of Florida trying to help Charlie Crist and Val Demings win their respective races for governor and US Senate. Control of the Senate will likely come down to 4 races: Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania. The math is pretty simple, Democrats need to win 3 of these 4 races to maintain control of the Senate. For Republicans, all they need is to win 2 of the 4 to get control. Meanwhile, currency values in Iran hit a new low today following weeks of nationwide unrest. The country is struggling to revive a nuclear deal with world powers. Founder and President of Lopez Liberty, Clare Lopez, joins to tell us more about what’s prompting these protests in Iran. And this has been the deadliest year ever at the US Southern Border. A new report says 856 migrants died in the past 12 months all while trying to cross into the US. Senior Research Fellow in the Border Security and Immigration Center at the Heritage Foundation, Simon Hankinson, joins to put these numbers in context for us. Finally this evening, in a special address to pilgrims at St. Peter’s Square on All Saints Day, Pope Francis noted most saints were not perfect. Professor of Theology at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (ANGELICUM), Fr. Dominik Jurczak, joins to tell us more about the feast of All Saints and how and why we celebrate this day.
