Ruth Prats, a pastoral associate at St. Peter Church in Covington, La., has been identified as the second victim in a double homicide that has shaken the community, the local coroner’s office announced on Dec. 1.Father Otis Young, a retired priest of the parish, was identified as the other victim on Nov. 30. The current pastor of St. Peter parish remembered them as two people who gave all of “themselves in service to the people of God.”
