As a faithful Catholic and father of a family, for some time now I have felt the need to deal with a subject which I believe deserves to be dealt with, even with all the attention and due respect.I am referring to the important figure of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, certainly a light in this night of darkness. It is undeniable that from 2018 onwards, the figure of this great archbishop has resounded in the deafening silence of an episcopate not only absent for many years but, even worse, conniving with the desire to create a real counter-church.It is now even sickening to repeat that the ecclesiastical hierarchies, for over fifty years, have betrayed their mandate, and this is the reason why a Catholic cannot submit to all of this.In the words of another too often forgotten giant of the Catholic Church, the Brazilian bishop Archbishop Antônio de Castro Meyer, ” we say that the best way to abandon the Church of Christ, the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, is to accept without reservation what he taught and proposed the Second Vatican Council. It is the anti-Church .”All this for many was already evident. For many others, it probably wasn’t yet. It is undoubted and statistically proven that Bergoglio has induced many faithful to ask themselves questions, thus beginning to harbor strong perplexities and then, consequently, opening their eyes and fixing their gaze on a problem that precedes Bergoglio by far.For many this is still not clear, but I think it’s only a matter of time. Fully understanding such a dramatic situation is a Grace that the Lord grants and for which Charity, moved by the Grace itself, must push us not to judge those who have not yet reached conclusions that seem obvious to us, but on the contrary to help to understand all those who have the will to do it, albeit with different times and difficulties also according to the sensitivity and personal experience of each one.
