Activist Panti Bliss has been slammed online for tweets he made in relation to a women’s rights campaigner who was attacked at a rally in New Zealand last Friday.

This comes as Irish trans rights activists (TRAs) are planning to hold a counter demonstration at the Let Women Speak event due to take place on the 15th of April in Dublin.

The event, which is to be hosted by women’s rights campaigner Kellie Jay Keen, is an open forum where women are given an opportunity to speak publicly about their views on topics including biological males accessing female spaces like toilets and changing rooms.

One such event held in Auckland New Zealand last Friday saw trans rights activists attack Keen pouring tomato soup over her amid chaotic scenes where crowd control fencing was broken through and one elderly woman was punched in the face by a man.
