The UK faced a further 166 Covid deaths on Tuesday. New figures come as Britain’s Covid infection rate was revealed to be one of the worst in the world in data. Total deaths in the UK amount to 137,152. Separate figures published by the Office for National Statistics show there have been 161,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
